I've always favored the dark side of romance. I even wrote one without a HEA and was asked to revise before it would be accepted for publishing. BROKEN featured the hero being rejected by the heroine and having to accept that when you screw up that big, there's no coming back. And she dies of a broken heart. Because you can. But I rewrote the ending and of course she let him back into her life and they worked it out...lots of mixed reviews about that one, probably bc I was so conflicted.
I recently wrote a novella titled The Right Thing, about an incredibly selfish, damaged man, somebody really hard to like, even if he came by it honestly. The heroine sacrificed and he gained from it-and became the man we all want., and maybe deserve. He tumbled to the fact it's better to love another person, sometimes at great risk, than to never give your heart. An amazing publisher has offered to publish it-the review coordinator saw past his asshole personna and to the man he could become, if only he followed his heart. Bless her. So I may write the sides of people many romance readers would prefer not to think about, but it is what it is. Love rarely comes easy and it can be quite dark.

working title of your book?
The
working title for my Next Big Thing is
Fulfilled.
Where did the
idea come from for the book?
I
seem to prefer one word titles for the most part, and Fulfilled is Book 5 in
the Club Pleasure series, following Wishes, Madness, Reason and Vulnerable.
What genre
does your book fall under?
It’s
BDSM erotica, a ménage, and features the nanny from Wishes.
Which actors
would you choose to play your characters in a movie rendition?
I’d
be picking Denzel Washington, Cate Blanchett, and Chris Pine to play my
characters in a movie rendition with Drew Barrymore and Ben Affleck as
supporting cast.
What is the
one-sentence synopsis of your book?
Through a quirk of fate, a woefully
unsophisticated nanny is plunged into the Lifestyle and discovers her true
needs and desires beneath the loving ministrations of two Doms.
Will your book
be self-published or represented by an agency?
I
hope my publisher will accept this WIP!
How long did
it take you to write the first draft of your manuscript?
It’s
been over a month of self edits, and my first draft took only a week.
Who or what
inspired you to write this book?
Fulfilled not only follows the
nanny, it catches the reader up on how Kennedy and Graham are doing, (Wishes) as well as
Cameron and Olivia,(Madness) Jonathon (aka Denzel), and, Patrick and Madison.(Wishes, Madness, Vulnerable)

reading and writing and reviewing...
I'm currently reading a novel by Rose Anderson entitled Loving Leonardo. Well researched and historical. Liking it. MM- something I don't read a lot of but so nicely done. I expect a MMF in the next few chapters!
Wrote a FFM several months ago, a challenge for me but totally enjoyed it. Surrounded didn't sell as well-was it the FF? I wonder. Nice reviews and feedback from those who did read it. I think it's a hidden gem, biased or no, lol.
I read a lot, and I mean a lot. I read as much as I write. Don't seem to find much time for anything else! I review what I write too, fair and square. Never say anything I wouldn't to the author's face. Which brings me to reviewing-what is it with people who hide behind their Internet ID? Cowards. It's fine not to like a book bc of the content but don't throw the baby out with the bathwater. Say your piece about the content-if the blurb didn't give you a hint about whether it was for you or not, that's one thing. But if you don't like the content, say so, but consider if it was well written or not and remark on that.
I recently read a book that offended me to the point I was disturbed for days. I hated the content. But could she write! Absolutely. I'll never read the book again and shared my opinion on the subject matter-the blurb didn't even hint at it- but I gave credit where credit was due. Deep POV, well researched and captivating. It just wasn't for me and I write dark stuff too.
